George has been with Hafen Buckner since 1984 and became a shareholder in 1991. Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in valuing closely held businesses, uncovering financial truths through forensic accounting, and supporting attorneys and business owners during litigation.


He holds multiple advanced designations in valuation and forensic work and has valued companies across dozens of industries: from manufacturing and mineral extraction to healthcare, auto dealerships, and hospitality. George is also certified to perform machinery and equipment appraisals.

Tadd W. Hafen

Tadd began his career at Hafen Buckner while still in college and became a shareholder in 2001. He brings decades of experience in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, business valuation, and strategic advisory for business owners across a wide range of industries.


Outside of work, Tadd spends most weekends from April through November at his cabin on his family’s ranch in East Zion, where the deck overlooks Checkerboard Mesa. He enjoys caring for horses and chickens, helping with a neighbor’s cattle, and riding side-by-sides around the mountain.


Tadd has also served on the board of the Friends of the Washington County Children’s Justice Center for more than 20 years and currently serves as treasurer.

McKenna serves as Practice Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and an exceptional client experience. She evaluates and improves internal processes, streamlines workflows, and implements systems that enhance service quality while supporting the firm’s overall success. Her role also includes managing firm-wide initiatives such as marketing, proposal development, project management, accounts receivable, and hiring efforts.


She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Experience Design and Management and brings prior experience in events and operations management, where she focused on improving efficiency and delivering high-quality client and employee experiences.


When she’s not working, McKenna enjoys spending time in nature with her family, visiting national parks, walking scenic trails, and paddle boarding.

Dianne Timpson

Dianne prepares federal and state tax returns by collecting and validating client financial information and applying current tax laws to ensure accuracy and compliance. She also supports clients throughout the year by answering questions and providing practical tax guidance.


She joined Hafen Buckner without prior tax experience and developed her expertise through hands-on learning and mentorship within the firm. With a lifelong exposure to accounting concepts and a strong analytical mindset, Dianne brings clarity to complex tax matters while building trusted client relationships.


When she’s not working, Dianne is often diving into her master’s program in accounting, she’s a lifelong learner at heart. She enjoys getting lost in a good book or unwinding with a game, and values time spent relaxing with her husband or catching up with close family and friends.

Before joining Hafen Buckner, Heather worked in the insurance field and later spent 20 years as a stay-at-home mom, an experience she values deeply and credits with strengthening her organizational and problem-solving skills.


When she’s not working, Heather loves spending time with her husband, seven children, and grandchild. She enjoys being creative, working in the yard, and serving those in her neighborhood and community whenever she can.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys a balanced life centered on outdoor activities and spending quality time with his family. He is also actively involved in a local non-profit organization focused on youth mentorship within the community.
